Small Glowing Pig was founded in 2000 by Mike Savignano and Steve Blonski in Danbury, CT while attending Danbury High School. In the decades since, the label has traveled through Danbury, Storrs, and Manchester on the path to finding its current homes in Steve’s Brookfield studio and in Mike’s basement in Newington.
SGP is currently host to several bands including Steve Blonski and Our Forefathers, Vacation, and General Pancakes. In the fall of 2011, Small Glowing Pig expanded to include video production with the pilot episode of SpaceBase: Infinity, though the project was never completed.
